Story of an Island full with scary female divers!

Recently I've just finish watching a kdrama called Tamna, The Island. Sorry, I must blog about this since it is killing me inside out. Anyway FYI, there are a few names for this drama but I prefer this one better. ^.^

Synopsis

The drama is based on a manhwa with the same title. Tamna the Island is set in 17th-century Joseon times as a young English castaway, William, comes to the island and meets Jang Beo Jin, Park Kyu, and Yan. The name "Tamna" refers to what is now called Jeju.

My favorite character in this series would be Yan Kawamura played by Lee Sun Ho.

Yan's everyday serious face throughout the series =^.^=

Sorry Beo Jin (Seo Woo), William (Pierre Deporte), and Park Kyu (Im Joo Hwan)... you silly main characters can't beat a simple character with killer dimples, smile, serious look, and most of all... his cool outfit~!! Too bad I can't find the perfect photo of his black outfit as shown in the series. :(

Anyway, I found his other photo instead~ ♥

Actor Lee Sun Ho

Weirdly enough he doesn't look that much different from his original looks and the look in the series. Must be the outfit~ xD

The one with HUGE differences would be William (Pierre Deporte) as he have to put on hair extension for the whole series. He looks much more charming in the series than his real look. Believe me~

Pierre Deporte as William Spencer

As for Beo Jin (Seo Woo) and Park Kyu (Im Joo Hwan)... Seriously... They cried too much throughout the whole the series.

Anyway, here are some photos of Im Joo Hwan.

Park Kyu the Exile ^.^

Actor Im Joo Hwan

The most important thing is that I can't believe that Seo Woo is actually 3 years older than me!!! I was like thinking "She must be younger than me~" "What an amazing young actress~" throughout the whole series!!!! *Sulk*

Beo Jin in her diving suit~

Actress Seo Woo

I only found out about her age after I finish watching the whole series...
*hiding in the corner drawing circles* =__=

Alrighty~ Have to stop sulking about age and looks~ I love how I look! Muahahaha!

Time for my beauty sleep now~ :)

Make sure you guys go watch this great series if you haven't ya. The CG and underwater effect is great! And the actresses played as divers is full of awesomeness and I LOL-ed alot throughout the whole series!

Here's an interview video of the series and some previews

Bye nie~

Addiction to Kdrama

Hmmm, how do I start this...
Okay, lets start with this.

One fine day, I was clicking around the Facebook as usual. A friend of mine posted a video about a Kdrama so I was like so curious so I clicked it.

Below is the visual aid to help you visualize. LOL!

As I have liking to movies and dramas that has traditional clothing and stuffs so I searched for the drama after watching that video clip in youtube.

I watched the 1st episode... then 2nd... and ended up watching till 6th episode in just one day! YES! 1 DAY!!!

As the drama is still airing so I have to wait and anticipate the following episodes. It is torturing to waitttttt!!! Ugh~

Anyway, for those of you who don't know about this drama... You can watch the short trailer or preview as shown below. Have fun~ :)

The video below is a much longer trailer that covers from episode 1 till 6... so beware of spoilers if you want surprises :)

Like it??? Omgosh!! All the actor and actress looks sooooo cute!!! kyaaaa!!! xD

Taman Negara @ Pahang Trip

28 - 30 May 2010 was my pop culture group trip to Tmn Negara. I was super excited at first as it is my first time visiting there and not to mention eye candies that I can spot there. Nyahahaha.. I saw some super nice looking "guai lou" there. :P

Overall the trip was okay but the place that we stay in is a little bit too much for me. Dirty toilets with no water supply & rooms with only "ONE" small fan with 5 people sleeping in. Imagine we have to sleep 2 nights in that place~

The first night I slept for a few hours outside with 2 other friends because it was freaking hot in the room! The room gradually becomes cooler after 1 a.m. We only move in to sleep after that. Thank god I doesn't attract mosquitoes. Pity a friend of mine that was surrounded by mosquitoes though. D:

Anyway, when I came back to K.L... I notice I might have mushroom and fungus fetish... U want to know why?? My camera is full of the mushroom and fungus photos >_<

When I took these photo's, I was thinking about Alice in the Wonderland. And also bunnies~ Too bad there aren't any bunnies there. Only cats.. lots of cute and fluffy cats! I didn't took any photos of them though D:

Urm, the jungle trekking was nice... I sweat alot! I wonder how long ago was it that I last sweat this much. Oh and also, the canopy walk was nice but not scary enough though.

The only scary part is that a guy is swinging the bridge in front and the next thing I know is that I was clinging to the net like a gecko!

The day before we leave the place, we played around with my friends DSLR. I didn't know how people make those effect until she showed me. Yay! I've learned something new! :)

Oh, I have to thank a friend of mine for making me glow with her masterpiece. At first I wanted cute angel wings but instead I turned into a butterfly xD

Lastly, I would like to tell you all that.... I Less than Three K.L ♥

Red Cliff 1 & 2

Sorry for the long update. My laziness has gotten into me..... once again~ >.<

This time, I'm gonna blog about Red Cliff. I know that I am very outdated but I can't help it since I just watched it. And I totally love the movie!

I watched the whole 2 long movie in 1 go last week with my mum and little sis. It was kind of addicting actually. Don't believe me? Try it yourself if you have not watch it yet. You definitely won't regret watching it. :)

Trailer here :)

In the movie, I can see that the director is trying to add in some gags into such a serious and historical movie. Well done! Not to mention, the theme song for the movie is really nice. Totally love it! :D

The best thing of all is that the movie have good looking guys inside. Nyahahaha~ I won't fall asleep as long as there is eye candy in the movie.

And also there's my favorite actress "Zhao Wei" in this movie. Actually "used" to be my favorite actress when I was in primary school. During the time, "My Fair Princess" is very popular.. okay.. it's super popular!!! And "Zhao Wei" is the main actress. Imagine how the power of media can affect children!! I was one of the victim!! :P

Anyway, here is the theme songs for Red Cliff 1 and 2.

This is the Red Cliff Part 1 theme song.

And this is the Red Cliff Part 2 theme song.

So overall the movie is super nice.... the song is also super nice... for me.

I don't know about you guys but it wouldn't hurt to try.

Dragon Sword & Wind Child

Finally! I got my hands on this novel some time ago at Kinokuniya, KLCC. I manage to finish reading this book today. It was really good. Seriously good! A MUST TRY! >:)

DRAGON SWORD AND WIND CHILD

Rating that I would give

Storyline: A+
Characters: A

Price: RM 59.90

My favourites genre of book is mainly Fantasy, Fiction, Romance, Asian Literature so its no wonder I love this. I don't know about you guys but I love books that is simple and easy to understand. Something like The Twelve Kingdoms or Missing :P

Okay.. maybe not a very good example since The Twelve Kingdoms is kind of complicated because of the massive characters and name of the land. Also, Missing have lots of japanese terms that is not known for people who is unfamiliar with the language and will have to google search for the meaning of the terms in order to understand.

A really good example would be Harry Potter and also Twilight. It should be well known for most of you guys out there. I don't need to explain it, do I? :P

Okay, back to the book. The thickness is just good. I think this book is especially good for children and teenagers. It's also good for young adults too especially people like me~ :P

So do you guys want to know what the story is all about?

Too bad! I don't give out spoilers but I will just upload the image of the book intro to those who want to take a glimpse on what's the book all about. :) Enjoy being poisoned by the book! >:D *evil grin*
